Every new year as an adult really is just "Oh, nice! Made it another year-FUCK I HAVE TO DO MY TAXES AGAIN"
#listening to annie lennox's version of days of the ring#and pretending that having to do my taxes is equivalent to frodo bearing the ring to mordor#taxes#like i know i'll probably get a refund so that's nice#but every year i live in fear that i'll accidentally commit tax fraud#because i never learned how to do my taxes#idaho public school: you won't learn taxes#but you will learn how to jump fences and shoot cows#nobody actually taught me how to shoot a cow that was an accident#we did an archery unit in 8th grade PE#and someone thought it was a brilliant idea to put the targets directly in front of a field of cows#rip ol bessie you were probably a good cow#tho i'm fairly certain the cow didn't die#they weren't deadly arrows#but they were actual arrows#idaho public school: let's give a bunch of 13 year olds weapons and see what happens!#beef speaks
